Introduction to the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin 16202OR Smoked Grey Dial 39mm
Following the announcement of discontinuing the Royal Oak 15202 model early last year, Audemars Piguet has released a replacement model. The newly launched watch, named Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin 16202, honors the original Jumbo watch from 1972. Among these is the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Jumbo Extra-Thin 16202OR with a rose gold case and smoky grey dial.
The most significant difference in the new Royal Oak model is the notable movement: Caliber 7121. This marks the first time in 50 years that the JLC base movement is no longer in the Royal Oak Jumbo design. With improvements in performance and power reserve, the new Caliber 7121 is an in-house creation. Now, Caliber 7121 can store power for approximately 55 hours (previously 40 hours).
